If Osteopathy is going to be of benefit to you, we should be able to see results after 1-2 sessions, sometimes a little longer if the problem has been present a long time. Your Osteopath will discuss a treatment plan at your first appointment.

We have a good referral network and pride ourselves on good communication with your other healthcare providers to ensure the best outcome for you. If we are unable to help you, we will discuss options for referring you to someone who may be able to assist.

We often prescribe exercises or postural advice to help achieve good outcomes for our patients. Clinical Pilates may be advised and provided at the clinic as part of your treatment and rehabilitation if needed.

  • No, you do not need a referral to see an Osteopath, unless you will be claiming treatment through the DVA. In the case of DVA, you will need a GP referral for treatment, updated every 12 months. You also will need a referral to claim a portion of your fee through Medicare via a Chronic Disease management plan. This may be available to patients with a chronic and complex condition. Please ask your GP for details and whether you are eligible for this program.

  • Yes, our osteopaths are able to see patients covered by all of these insurers. You will need to pay the full fee at the time of treatment for Workcover and TAC and claim back the rebate direct from your third-party payer. There may be an out of pocket component for these types of claims.

Please bring any relevant documentation such as claim numbers and insurer details to your appointment. DVA claims will be sent to DVA direct by us, there is no out of pocket payment. We also see patients that have been referred under a CDM plan from their GP.

The full fee for treatment is payable at the time of treatment, and we can arrange the Medicare rebate back onto your card at the time of payment. You will receive around $60 back from Medicare. Please note there is an out of pocket cost for these visits.

  • Initial consultations are priced at $150 to see our Senior Osteopath, Megan Burgess. Initial consultations with Bethany are $135. Return consultations are $105 with Megan and $100 to see Bethany. We have the HICAPS system so if you are covered by your private health fund for Osteopathy you can claim your health fund rebate on the spot and pay the gap. We accept all major credit cards including AMEX, as well as EFTPOS, cash, and cheque payments. We can also see patients referred by their doctor under a Chronic Disease Management Plan. These are issued to patients with a complex condition that Osteopathy may be part of the management of. You will need to pay the full amount at the time of the consultation and either take your invoice to Medicare to claim or we can have the rebate deposited to your account via our HICAPS machine. They will reimburse you overnight with the current rebate (around $60.) There is an out of pocket cost for our services under this type of arrangement.
